Day 3 – World Wushu Championships, Shanghai, China

15th WWC, wwc, eblast, medals, taolu, sanda

Day 3 of the World Wushu Championships continued the excitement in taolu and sanda. Mohammed Foroushani from Iran won gold for Iran in Men’s Nandao – an historic first – and Indonesia, Malaysia, and Hong Kong topped the podium along with China to proudly stand under their national flags.

 

In Sanda, Vietnam’s Thi Chinh Nguyen grabbed gold with a feisty performance on the lei tai, and Elaheh Mansourian Semiromi won her third gold WWC medal, keeping up with her golden sister Shahrbano.
