On July 30, IWUF releases Taijishan competition rules and judging methods on its official website, which is as the additional rules (trial) to the IWUF Wushu Taolu Competition Rules & Judging Methods (Excerpt) 2019.
As the IOC announced wushu’s official inclusion into the program of Dakar Youth Olympic Games (2026 YOG) on January 8th, 2020, Taijishan is approved as one of four individual events for both men and women athletes in the wushu competition.
To meet the requirement of Taijishan competitions, the IWUF Technical Committee Technical & Events Sub-Committee (TEC) has been dedicated in formulating Taijishan competition rules and judging methods with wushu experts’ suggestions taken into consideration, forming IWUF Wushu Taolu Competition Rules & Judging Methods (Excerpt) 2019 Additional Rules (Trial), reviewed and approved unanimously by IWUF Executive Board.
IWUF will organize online lectures for YOG Wushu Competition Taijishan Competition Rules & Judging Methods, and online workshop for YOG Wushu Competition Taijishan Techniques Training. Further information will be distributed and noticed on IWUF website www.iwuf.org.
