Indonesian Wushu Association (PB.WI) and International Wushu Federation (IWUF) have signed the Host City Contract for the 8th World Junior Wushu Championships 2022 in March 2022.
On March 22, 2022, located at the Industrial Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDMI) of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, after the Inauguration process for the Indonesian Wushu Association Executive Board 2022-2026 period, the MOU – Host City Contract file was signed between Indonesian Wushu Association (PB.WI) and International Wushu Federation (IWUF), where Indonesia will host the 8th World Junior Wushu Championships 2022,which will be held on December 2-10, 2022 in the city of Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia.
The signing was carried out by Mr. Airlangga Hartarto as the President of Indonesian Wushu Association (PB.WI), witnessed by Mr. Zainudin Amali, Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Marciano Norman – General Chairman of the Indonesian National Sport Committee, and Mr. Jadi Raja Gukguk – Executive Committee of Indonesian NOC and the entire board of Indonesian Wushu Association.
This shows the seriousness and endorsement of the Government of Indonesia and all sports elements in Indonesia for the successful implementation of the 8th World Junior Wushu Championships 2022.
