The athletes and team officials participating in the Wushu Tournament Beijing 2008,

Warm welcome to participate in the “Wushu Tournament Beijing 2008”. The 128 athletes are from 43 countries and regions of the five continents. In order to facilitate your competition in Beijing, we would like to inform you the following matters:

- Arrival
The staff of the IWUF will be meeting the participating teams at the airport. The volunteers will meet the athletes and team officials at the gate of exit of the plane upon your arrival. The service desks will be set up at the Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 of the Beijing Capital Airport. The volunteers and IWUF staff will be there to offer help to the arriving teams. The accreditation cards shall be given to the athletes and team officials then. Please contact Ms. Zeng Fang or Mr. Cai Liyong if any problems occur. - Accommodation
The BOCOG will be responsible for your board and lodging from August 18 to 24 in Beijing. Please have your meals at the designated restaurant.

- Welcome Reception
The IWUF will hold a welcome reception at the Zhang Shengji Restaurant at 19:00 on August 20. The bus will bring you to the Chinese Wushu Association and then to the restaurant. Further information on the time of departure from your domicile will be notified.

- Competition Equipment
According to the regulations of the BOCOG, athletes are not allowed to bring competition equipment into the domicile of the athletes. Therefore, when you arrive at the airport, please submit your competition equipment to the reception desk. The equipment will be registered. We will keep them at the competition venue. The designated working staff will take care of the equipment.

- Training Venue
The training venue will be at the Chinese Wushu Association. Please refer to the attached training schedule for your information. For safety reason, security check will be implemented when teams enter into the National Olympic Sports Center. Your cooperation for this purpose is appreciated.   

- Departure
The IWUF will arrange transportation for the participating teams to the airport according the flight details you provided.
