We are pleased to announce the finalists and public voting for the 2024 IWUF Athletes of the Year.
After careful preliminary review and approval by the Athletes' Committee, a total of 33 candidates from 15 countries and regions across five continents have been selected to enter the online voting phase for the 2024 IWUF Annual Athlete Awards.These exceptional athletes represent the best of our sport, showcasing dedication, skill, and sportsmanship.

The public can visit the voting website to atch videos of each candidate, learn more about their detailed information by click the button on the right side of the national (regional) code.
Voting Rules
1. Voting begins at 00:00 on January 20, 2025 and ends at 23:59 on February 20, 2025 (Beijing Time).
2. You can cast your votes for the candidates on the IWUF 2024 AOTY voting website once per 24 hours.
3. There are a total of five (5) categories of awards. You can only vote for one candidate per award. You must vote in at least three (3) categories – and at most five (5) categories. Each vote must be for an athlete from a different country/region.
4. After selecting your 3-5 candidates, click the “Submit Vote” to cast your votes. If your votes do not conform to the above rules (for example, voting in only two (2) categories, or voting for two (2) candidates from the same country/region), your vote will not be submitted and counted in the online voting system.
5. The numbers of votes cast for each candidate will be visible in real time throughout the online voting period.
6. All voters shall adhere to the principles of fair play in sport. The IWUF will supervise and scrutinize the online voting process closely. Any anomalies that appear will be investigated. To ensure the fairness, integrity, and openness of this Selection, any necessary measures may be taken to prevent or punish any conduct that is against these principles.
7. The IWUF Secretariat reserves the right to interpret this selection activity.
Supplementary Provisions
1. Each award will recognize one athlete, who will receive a certificate of achievement and a customized trophy.
2. Each Member Federation may have a maximum of two athletes awarded the title of IWUF Athlete of the Year 2024.
3. If public voting results show that more than two athletes from the same Member Federation rank first, the top two athletes based on public votes will be awarded.
4. All candidates participating in public voting for the IWUF Athlete of the Year will receive a certificate of participation issued by IWUF.
