On March 9, the Kungfu Kids 2024 – Junior Competition was successfully held in the city of Stará Turá, Slovakia.
The competition, co-organized by the Wushucentrum Stará Turá and the Slovak Association of Chinese Wushu, is held every two years for the young wushu athletes under the age of 18, mainly attracting Youth from Slovakia and Czech. The competition mainly covers competitive wushu and traditional wushu, with both fist forms and weapons.
This year, more than 70 athletes from nine schools in Slovakia and the Czech Republic participated in the competition. The competition fully demonstrated the elegance and vitality of young wushu athletes from both countries, and is attracting more and more young people from Slovakia and neighboring regions to join the wushu family.
