To all news organizations:
The IWUF 4th Taolu World Cup will be held in Haikou, China from July 4-9, 2026. To facilitate coverage of the event and better serve the news media, and in accordance with the relevant arrangements of the organizing committee for media accreditation registration, we hereby notify the following matters regarding media accreditation registration:
I. Media Accreditation Registration Deadline
From now until 24:00 (Beijing Time) on June 18, 2026
II. Media Accreditation Eligibility
1.Media accreditation applications must be submitted by accredited media organizations on behalf of their journalists. Individual applications will not be accepted. In principle, each organization may apply for no more than three persons (including no more than one photojournalist).
2. Journalists applying for accreditation must hold one of the following valid credentials:
Press Card issued by the National Press and Publication Administration of China;
Press Card issued by the International Sports Press Association (AIPS);
Letter of assignment for this event issued by an IWUF member federation or the journalist's affiliated news organization (must bear an official stamp).
3. Media accreditations for the event are divided into four categories: text, radio, photo, and TV (video). Non-TV organizations may not register TV/video journalists. TV organization registrations are limited to news reporting teams; personnel involved in TV signal production are not included.
III. Media Accreditation Registration Process
1. Journalists from news organizations wishing to cover the event must complete the online accreditation application form (registration.iwuf.org) truthfully and as required before June 18, 2026, and upload an electronic ID photo and the relevant credentials or letters of assignment as required.
2. The review result of the media accreditation application will be communicated via the email address provided during registration. Please check your email in a timely manner.
3. Accredited journalists whose applications are approved must, upon arrival at the competition venue, present their valid personal ID, press card, or relevant letter of assignment to collect their media access credentials at the venue (location to be notified separately).
IV. Basic Guidelines and Notes for Media
1. Apart from the official rights‑holding broadcaster, no other media are permitted to live‑broadcast the competition.
2. The accreditation category applied for by a journalist must be consistent with both the nature of their affiliated news organization and the actual reporting work they will undertake.
3. Photojournalists are not permitted to shoot any video footage inside the Field of Play (FOP).
4. Accredited media must respect colleagues, athletes, coaches, the IWUF and event organizers, volunteers, and wushu fans. Accredited media must always follow international media and journalistic ethics in their reporting, maintaining high standards especially in truthfulness, accuracy, objectivity, fairness, impartiality, and public accountability.
5. All accredited media for this event have the right to enter the designated media areas in the competition venues to freely report on the event, but may not enter any restricted areas or other venues. Media wishing to report on matters unrelated to this event must obtain permission from the relevant authorities as required.
